The author has borrowed from her clinical and teaching experiences to create this text on manual therapy. The resultant work offers the entry-level physical therapy student a condensed volume on basic spinal and extremity manual therapy. This statement should not detract from the need for or usefulness of the author's work. In the preface, Edmond clearly states the conception and purpose of the book. The work was conceived as a "manual for use with entry-level physical therapy students and as an aid in laboratory sessions."
